What Workouts Can Your Do With Kettle Gryp?
As you might well know, the Kettle Gryp® is a portable dumbbell adapter that turns ordinary dumbbells into kettle bells. The Kettle Gryp is ideal for fitness enthusiasts, frequent travelers who hate missing their workouts, and anybody who wants the full range of workouts possible with a kettlebell - without the expensive cost.
Below we have two additional signature kettlebell workouts being performed with our Kettle Gryp along with information and tips for use for each.
The Kettle Gryp Squat is what we call it here. Squats are a classic exercise, but by adding the Kettle Gryp, you increase the resistance your body fights to stand back up, which works your muscles even more.
To perform a Squat, you stand with your feet shoulder-width apart and grip the Kettle Gryp with both hands. Bend your knees and hips into a deep squat, keeping your back straight and bringing your butt low past your knees. Press your heels firmly and thrust yourself back into a standing position. Repeat.
Tip* Be sure to keep your heels planted firmly while performing this workout.
The hinging movement of the Figure 8 workout is similar to that of the Kettle Gryp Swing, but instead of forward and backward, you’re swinging the Kettle Gryp from front to back in a figure 8 motion through the legs.
The Figure 8's give you a great cardio workout, and they're also great for overall body toning and working the hamstrings, quadriceps, biceps and your back.
